What's up at the Starving Artists Forum?

SATeam has a home in the Starving Artists Forum and we'd like to share it with our blog readers. Here are a few brief descriptions, with links, to give you a taste of the scope and diversity of the Starving Artists forum. We'd love to have you join us.

First up this week is a perennial favorite in our Challenges and Competition section: the June Item Per Day thread. In this thread, participating members check in daily with reports and photos of what they are working on. It's loads of fun to see what everyone else is doing, and it keeps everyone thinking about jewelry every day.

The polymer clay section of Starving Artists has been very active lately; come enjoy the eye candy in these threads:
And for a great discussion on the different types of polymer clay and when to use which, check out the Studio By Sculpey thread.

If you're more interested in metal, Starving Artist metal workers share their expertise in these threads:
If you want to compare the pros and cons of metal clay vs. metal smithing, pop on over to the Pmc Or Metal Smithing? which is better for making rings? thread.

That's just a brief taste of what's happening this week on the forum. Every week brings new information, ideas, friendship and, of course, eye candy. Come join us, and get to know the members of SATeam and their friends on the Starving Artists Forum.

The Starving Artists Forum features Artisan handmade creations by the Etsy Starving Artists jewelry team, and many others. SATeam members create handcrafted jewelry and beads. More information about our team and its current etsy shop owner members can be found at SATEAM.etsy.com.

I'm always amazed by the breadth of techniques used by people on the forum. Nice to see them highlighted.
